At first I wondered why this poem was short, but after reading I can honestly say I loved it. So short and simple but so powerful. This stood out to me because not only was the zoom picture on point but these 3 lines are things we have all heard. It is not the same when we should be at school with our friends and telling them in person. I personally am an “in person” kind of person so I felt it when you wrote “online wishes sent” because we all know to hear appreciation in person is so much more meaningful than words sent over message. One of my favorites and very relatable, I really enjoyed the connectivity.

Madison, even though this poem is short, it was very impactful and something we can all relate to. My family is very religious, so we usually have a big Easter celebration after church, however we obviously couldn’t do either of those things. I really relate to it not being the same over the phone, because I miss my family so much. I hope you were still able to find some joy in your holiday.
